Order | Clarity | Momentum
Studios run on more than vision.
I work alongside interior design principals as a strategist and fractional COO — strengthening the clarity, structure, and rhythm that keep the work, the team, and the business moving.
Design studios thrive on creative leadership, but they’re sustained by the operational architecture beneath it—the timelines, workflows, forecasting, communication standards, and boundaries that hold the work and protect the studio’s energy, profitability, and client experience.
My role sits adjacent to the creative: close enough to understand the work, far enough to see its structure. I help principals steady the backend of the studio so they can lead from a place of clarity.
"Bri has been such a gift to my studio. She brings order and clarity to the moving pieces of running a complex creative business without a roadmap, and she does it with a calm, steady presence that makes everything feel lighter. Her presence has allowed me to exhale; something not easily found in the growth years of a complex studio. Bri has this way of cutting through complexity, offering thoughtful solutions, and following through with precision and rigor. All of this lets me stay focused on the work I love most, which has also come to include creative problem-solving alongside her. Beyond the systems and structure, she shows up with real care and integrity, and absolutely brings her whole self to everything she touches. All of this makes collaborating with her both effective and genuinely enjoyable. I’m deeply grateful for the way she’s elevated not just our operations, but the spirit of our team and the outcome of the work we're producing."

There’s an art to structure.
I began my career in design. I know the pace, the pressure, and the detail it takes to run a studio with a full slate of projects, a team to lead, and the unrelenting demands of both. I also know how quickly the work can fracture when the structure behind it isn’t steady. Deadlines stretch, expectations drift, trust erodes, and the studio finds itself reinventing the wheel with each project.
The studios I partner with are producing work that is distinctive, resonant, and ambitious. The stakes are high. What’s often missing is not talent or vision, but the systems that allow the business to hold all of it with clarity and momentum.
The caliber of the work is magnified by the architecture that holds it.
This is where I step in. My work is twofold: strategy and operational leadership. On one level, I define the frameworks that carry a studio forward—how work moves, how decisions are made, how communication flows, how the team aligns, and how the business measures its own health. On another, I serve as a thought partner to the principal—pressure-testing decisions, clarifying priorities, and holding the larger architecture of the studio when the day-to-day tries to pull it apart.
This is the architecture of a studio. Built with rigor and alignment, it strengthens margins, steadies the team, and elevates the client experience to match the caliber of the design.
Offerings —
Each studio is a reflection of the principal at its center — their values, their pace, their thresholds, and the way they lead the vision, the team, the process, and the client experience.
Effective strategy requires depth, not templates. It cannot be reduced to a universal framework, a broad-stroke diagnosis, or a one-size-fits-all operating system. The right structure has to begin with a clear understanding of the realities, priorities, and goals of a specific practice and the founder who shapes it.
These offerings meet different needs. Whether you’re looking for focused clarity around a specific point of friction, ongoing structural support as you strengthen the business, or deeper operational partnership inside the rhythm of the studio, each engagement is shaped to meet you at the level of depth, access, and support that aligns with where you are.
-
A focused 90-minute working session for principals who want clear strategic perspective on a specific area of the studio — whether you’re navigating a point of friction, refining what already exists, or trying to identify the strongest next move.
This is direct access to my thinking in real time. We’ll use the session to understand what you’re carrying, clarify the dynamics underneath it, and outline a practical path forward. Depending on what rises to the surface, this may include operational direction, client-facing language, pricing or billing guidance, process recommendations, team structure, project flow, leadership support, or decision-making clarity.
Advisory can also serve as a clear first step toward a Structural engagement for principals who want to explore deeper support.
Investment: $750
-
An ongoing engagement for principals who want consistent clarity, grounded support, and a steady operational through-line as the studio evolves.
This creates a regular place to think, plan, make decisions, and strengthen the structure of the practice with more confidence.
We meet on a regular rhythm [ weekly or every other week ] for focused strategy sessions. Together, we review priorities, navigate complex decisions, clarify direction, and identify what needs to move next.
Between sessions, I develop the frameworks, language, and tools that support the direction we’ve set. This may include refined client communication, clearer internal processes, financial visibility tools, meeting rhythms, team accountability structures, or other operational materials that help the studio function with more consistency.
Three-month minimum. Engagements begin at $3,200/month.

A high-touch operational partnership for studios that need senior leadership inside the business.
Embedded is the deepest level of engagement. In this model, I become an integrated part of the team — with a clear role, a defined seat in the business, and ownership of the operational layer that supports the principal, the team, the clients, and the work moving through the studio.
This engagement is designed for studios that need more than an advisory relationship. It creates active operational ownership, with support that can respond to what is happening inside the business in real time.
Because this work requires sustained context, trust, and a strong working rhythm, Embedded partnerships are custom-scoped and available by invitation. Most begin after a Structural engagement, once priorities, fit, and working relationship have been established.
Custom scoped. By invitation.
